POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled Corporate Avionics Technician with 6+ years of experience performing installations and troubleshooting on aircraft avionics systems. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As an Avionics Technician, you will be essential to ensuring the optimal performance of aircraft systems, including avionics units such as Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, Audio, and Autopilot Systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing avionics and aircraft systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all work complies with FAA guidelines. You’ll work on projects independently while collaborating with customers in project management, pricing, and support roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform general avionics support tasks on aircraft, including the removal and installation of panels and components and performing necessary repair work.
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate avionics systems, ensuring their functionality at the component level.
  • Inspect and evaluate aircraft and avionics systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Verify aircraft movement and system performance.
  • Work on various tools and equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, jacks, and tugs.
  • Collaborate with customers, providing support in project management, pricing, and customer relations.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of shop facilities, equipment, and tooling to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain customer-oriented work habits, effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of experience in avionics installations and troubleshooting, preferably with corporate aircraft or turboprop aircraft
  • Preferred aircraft experience: Citations, King Airs, Air Tractor, Hawkers, Pilatus, Cessna Caravan, Lear jet, etc.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Electronics or Avionics factory training preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and dependability.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to attend work as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.

PHYSICAL & COMPLIANCE REQUIREMNTS
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Routine walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and standing for long periods.
  • Working on elevated platforms (up to 40 ft) with fall protection safety gear.
  • Ability to work in small restricted spaces and outside during aircraft runs.
  • Strong basic computer skills (Apple and Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check and FAA DOT drug test.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Valid and current US Driver’s License.
  • Valid U.S. Passport is a plus but not required.
