Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise daily maintenance activities within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and quality.
  • Coordinate manpower, workflow, project schedules, and aircraft priorities to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Review, approve, and confidently sign off maintenance discrepancies, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), inspections, and return-to-service documentation.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, manufacturer maintenance manuals, engineering data, and company procedures.
  • Review work packages, maintenance records, logbook entries, and regulatory paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to resolve technical issues and maintain production schedules.
  • Monitor workmanship, regulatory compliance, and quality standards throughout all phases of maintenance.
  • Drive continuous process improvements that enhance productivity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support customer communications by providing project status updates and resolving maintenance-related issues as needed.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 8–15+ years of helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Previous FAA Part 145 Repair Station supervisory or management experience required.
  • Proven people management and project management experience.
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
  • AW139 helicopter experience strongly preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations, aircraft maintenance practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently review and approve maintenance discrepancies, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and return-to-service documentation.
  • Strong experience with aircraft maintenance records, logbooks, work packages, and regulatory paperwork.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple aircraft projects while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with aircraft maintenance documentation systems.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
  • Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
  • Authorization to Work in the U.S. Required.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.
