POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
- Join a premier FAA Part 145 Repair Station specializing in heavy maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, completions, and refurbishment of a diverse fleet of rotary-wing aircraft.
- As the Lead Helicopter Mechanic (A&P), you'll provide technical leadership while performing complex maintenance on commercial, VIP, corporate, government, and law enforcement helicopters. You'll mentor technicians, coordinate workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and help deliver aircraft safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities for assigned technicians and aircraft.
- Perform heavy maintenance, major inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on rotary-wing aircraft.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mechanics while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and repair airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, electrical, flight control, and mechanical systems.
- Remove, install, rig, and operationally test aircraft components and assemblies.
- Review maintenance activities to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, company procedures, and quality standards.
- Interpret and apply technical manuals, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Perform functional and operational checks following maintenance activities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance documentation and proper completion of work orders.
- Coordinate with management, inspectors, and fellow technicians to maintain production schedules and deliver high-quality aircraft on time.
- Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- 10+ years of helicopter maintenance experience required.
- Previous experience serving as a Lead Mechanic, Crew Lead, or Maintenance Team Lead preferred.
- Extensive experience performing heavy maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on rotary-wing aircraft.
- AW139 experience highly preferred; UH-60 Black Hawk experience is highly transferable.
- Strong working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize workload, mentor technicians, and maintain production schedules.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Authorization to Work in the U.S. Required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
