ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to support aircraft maintenance operations on regional aircraft platforms. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining aircraft electrical and avionics systems in accordance with approved maintenance data, technical manuals, and FAA regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
- Perform avionics installations, system testing, and component replacements in accordance with approved technical data.
- Conduct functional tests and operational checks on avionics systems to verify proper operation.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, avionics schematics, and technical manuals to complete maintenance tasks.
- Perform aircraft wiring repairs, harness installations, and system modifications as required.
- Document maintenance actions accurately in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Airframe (A) License required.
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English regarding aircraft maintenance actions.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 7-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Proof of Authorization to work in the US.
- MUST own personal aircraft avionics maintenance tools/box.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must meet one of the following experience pathways:
- Pathway 1 – Standard Avionics Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of avionics or aircraft maintenance experience, or substantiated equivalent experience
- CRJ airframe experience preferred
- Corporate or commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus
- Pathway 2 – Advanced Avionics Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of avionics or aircraft maintenance experience, or substantiated equivalent experience
- MRO / heavy maintenance or CRJ aircraft experience required
- Corporate or commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus.
- Pathway 1 – Standard Avionics Experience
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certification is a plus
- Certification from an Avionics or Aircraft Electrical Technical School, or equivalent military avionics training, preferred
