POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to support heavy maintenance operations on regional aircraft. This role is responsible for performing structural repairs, modifications, and installations in accordance with approved engineering data, maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations to ensure aircraft structural integrity and airworthiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft components and assemblies.
- Fabricate, repair, and install metal parts, skins, doublers, brackets, and structural assemblies using approved maintenance data.
- Conduct structural inspections and damage assessments to determine required repairs.
- Utilize tools and equipment, including riveting equipment, drills, layout tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, structural repair manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Complete accurate maintenance documentation and work records in accordance with FAA requirements.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company safety and quality standards.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Airframe (A) License required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English regarding aircraft maintenance actions.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 7-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Proof of Authorization to work in the US.
- MUST have personal aircraft structural maintenance tools/box.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must meet one of the following experience pathways:
- Pathway 1 – Licensed Structural Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of aircraft structural sheet metal repair and modification experience
- CRJ airframe experience preferred
- Corporate or commercial aircraft experience preferred
- MRO or heavy maintenance experience is a plus
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus
- Pathway 2 – Aircraft Platform Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of aircraft structural sheet metal repair and modification experience
- MRO / heavy maintenance or CRJ airframe experience required
- Corporate or commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus
- Pathway 1 – Licensed Structural Experience
