POSITION / OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics to support aircraft maintenance operations on regional and business aircraft platforms. This position will perform structural repairs, modifications, and installations in accordance with approved engineering data, maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations to ensure aircraft structural integrity and airworthiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft components and assemblies.
- Fabricate and install skins, doublers, brackets, and structural assemblies using approved technical data.
- Conduct structural inspections and damage assessments to determine required repairs.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, structural repair manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Utilize sheet metal tools and equipment including riveting equipment, drills, layout tools, and fabrication tools.
- Complete accurate maintenance documentation and work records in compliance with FAA standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety and quality procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Airframe (A) License required.
- Minimum 3 years of structural sheet metal repair and modification experience or sustained similar experience.
- Corporate or commercial aircraft experience preferred.
- CRJ airframe experience is a plus.
- MRO experience is a plus.
- Prior military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot, Isochronal, or Phase inspections) is a plus.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English regarding aircraft maintenance actions.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 7-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Proof of Authorization to work in the US.
- MUST possess personal aircraft structural maintenance tools/box.
