POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Helicopter Mechanic to join our dynamic team, specializing in installations and modifications on SH-60 helicopters. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural, electrical, and mechanical upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. This is a critical position requiring precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform structural modifications, component installations, and system upgrades on SH-60 helicopters according to engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems during installation or modification processes.
Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure aircraft functionality and compliance with FAA, DoD, and company standards.
Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and test results in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with changes in technology, modifications, and industry regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
H60 / H60 variant experience required.
Familiarity with DoD standards and aviation technical orders (T.O.s).
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems specific to rotary-wing aircraft.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized aviation maintenance equipment.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
Proof of eligibility to work in the US
Valid US Driver’s License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May work in hazardous working conditions, near flight lines; some assignments are within an uncontrolled climate facility.
Must be able to see with corrective eye wear and hear clearly with assistance.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, or crouch.
The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Expected to handle/manage hazardous materials/waste in accordance with regulatory and industrial standards.
Wears/maintains personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, hearing, extremities, respiratory devices, protective shields and barriers as required
