POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Helicopter Mechanic to join our dynamic team, specializing in installations and modifications on SH-60 helicopters. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural, electrical, and mechanical upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications. This is a critical position requiring precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aviation excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform structural modifications, component installations, and system upgrades on SH-60 helicopters according to engineering blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems during installation or modification processes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure aircraft functionality and compliance with FAA, DoD, and company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and test results in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in technology, modifications, and industry regulations.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • H60 / H60 variant experience required.
  • Familiarity with DoD standards and aviation technical orders (T.O.s).
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems specific to rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized aviation maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
  • Valid US Driver’s License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • May work in hazardous working conditions, near flight lines; some assignments are within an uncontrolled climate facility.
  • Must be able to see with corrective eye wear and hear clearly with assistance.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, or crouch.
  • The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Expected to handle/manage hazardous materials/waste in accordance with regulatory and industrial standards.
  • Wears/maintains personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, hearing, extremities, respiratory devices, protective shields and barriers as required
